Waterproof

To be waterproof is probably the most essential characteristic a window should have. Because can cause enormous damage and badly conceived window or profile is hard to adjust on the site itself.

Therefore, waterproofness is mesasured at different wind velocities and the strictest European standard (class E4) stipulates that a window should be waterproof up to 600 Pa (=storm).

Engels windos and terrace doors are still waterproof at 1000 Pa (- 150 km/h wind velocity).
