Thermal Insulation

Engels frames show an excellent insulating performance thanks to the most appropriate rae materials, concepts and the super-insulating glazing, but also because of the excellent air-tightness and accuracy of manufacturing.

For each raw material, we easily comply with the new EPB energy performance regulation.

When using Super Neutral hight-efficiency glass (Ug = 1.1), the thermal coefficient of a frame (1.5m high x 1m wide) is:

• Uw for PVC (4-chamber reinforced) Uf 1.9 = 1.5W/m² K
• Uw for aluminium (65mm) Uf 2.7 = 1.9W/m² K
